The suspension arms are so important when it comes to handling pressure especially under hard off-roads and high speed. However, the stock plastic arms aren’t that good if you’re a bad driver. They simply won’t keep up.
So instead of holding your potential and your enjoyment because you need to be careful not to break them. All you have to do is to replace them with aluminum suspension arms.
These aluminum parts are killing it when it comes to handling and reliability.

Tires Hexes
As you know, new tires mean better performance, and better performance means more bad driving and bashing.
But, there is something missing here. Let me explain…
Usually, when you upgrade your RC car, there are a lot of parts related together, and some rely on each other.
This relation has to be balanced by equal powers from each part. Let me tell you an example.
Your stock tires are fixed by plastic hexes. This means that they’re built especially for this type of tire. But, what if you change the tires to something more powerful?
Well, here comes the danger, because an unbalance has been created between the power of the tires that has increased due to the upgrade and the power of hexes that remained the same!
This unbalance can impact the whole RC car by not performing well after having the hex popped off the wheel because of the pressure.
Now, the best thing to do is to upgrade the hexes also! this will regain the balance again between the 2 parts.

The Battery
Changing your wheels and suspension without upgrading the source of energy of your Latrax Teton might be boring sometimes!
This is why changing your battery is a must. And by the way, upgrading the battery is one of the most basic RC car upgrades you can do. It doesn’t take time or money. And it is easy to change!
The problem remains of which battery you should use to be compatible with your Teton as well as to increase performance.

Battery Strap
Upgrading your Traxxas Latrax Teton battery doesn’t mean that it has the same size. Battery sizes differ from one company to another and from a capacity to another.
And the problem here is that the stock battery holders don’t come with flexible straps. They come instead with a normal hard plastic battery holder that fits just the stock battery (and maybe some other batteries).
This is why sometimes, you should remove the battery holder cap in order to install the new battery. In this case, a battery strap is highly recommended to fix your battery!
Usually, it takes 2 battery straps. One on the left and the other on the right.

The Driveshafts: Great Latrax Teton Upgrades
The driveshafts are the responsible parts that transmit the torque from the motor to the wheels. They’re so important because each wheel has its own driveshaft.
So, losing a driveshaft of a wheel means losing power coming from there. And as a result, the whole 4WD system will malfunction.
And as a conclusion, if the driveshaft is transmitting power to the wheels. This means that the more power transmitted, the more powerful the driveshaft should be. And the stock ones aren’t always capable of that!
The other problem with the driveshafts is their built-in quality. I mean, they’re good as a plastic product. But, they’re not enough to handle the pressure. Especially, with the high jumps or the bad crashes.
They’ll be shattered!
What you have to do instead, is to put the aluminum ones. They have an extreme ability to handle everything!
And as for the other parts, you can choose from a variety of colors that you like.

C-Hubs: One of the Crucial Traxxas Latrax Teton Upgrades
Do you know what C-Hubs are? Let me tell you.
We just talked earlier about the driveshafts, the suspension arms, as well as other parts and the wheels. All these parts are coming from the body of your RC car and going to the wheel.
But how can we link these whole parts to one point in the wheel?
Well, the C-Hubs are the perfect solution. This part is the one responsible for combining the whole suspension system parts and linking them to the wheel.
