Traxxas X-Maxx Tires
We’re starting with tires because they’re some of the most parts that get huge pressure on the vehicle when driving as well as when making crazy high jumps with the X-Maxx.
And I know that most Traxxas RC cars users love driving hard their RC cars, which means even more pressure on the internal parts including the wheels.
And unfortunately, the stock tires aren’t that strong and you can crash them in less than one hour of playing with your X-Maxx.
The other dangerous problem that these tires can do is that, when driving, the tires start stretching out. And with such a big, expensive, and fast RC car, you may cause big damage to your Traxxas X-Maxx.

Wheel Nuts
Speaking of the tires, the wheel nuts are also important to fix your X-Maxx tires to the vehicle. It’s those little nuts that fix the wheels. The difference between these and the stock ones is that they’re more powerful and handle more pressure.

With the speed, the high weight, and maybe the aggressive driving aside from the huge jumps, the shocks need to be really powerful at handling the giant pressure. And let me tell you that if you have the stock shocks, you will definitely break them under the conditions I mentioned before!

Traxxas X-Maxx Stub Axle
Sometimes when you upgrade something in your Traxxas or any other RC car, you should know that by improving that part, you may be weakening other relative parts. So, you should be aware of that.
A great example of that is the Stub Axle and the shocks. The stub axle is what links the wheels to the rest of the body of your RC car. This means that these axles are also being part of handling the huge pressure.
If you’re upgrading the shocks and not the stub axles, you’re creating a difference in power and balance between those two parts.
