Traxxas Stampede 2WD VXL: +65 mph
Well, that might be surprising a little bit. But yes! Traxxas Stampede 2WD VXL is one of the fastest Traxxas RC trucks with a speed of +65mph.
I know that a lot of people will be surprised by this news. And this is because we’re used to seeing Traxxas Stampede as that cheap RC car that we compare usually to Traxxas Slash.
But what a lot of people don’t pay attention to is the fact that Traxxas Stampede comes with a lot of versions from the 2WD brushed version to the strongest one which is the Stampede 4×4 VXL!
Another surprise is that Traxxas Stampede 2WD VXL is faster than the 4×4 VXL. That’s not what is supposed to be! But it is.
On the other hand, Traxxas Stampede 4×4 VXL isn’t that far. In fact, it can reach up to +60mph. So, there is no big difference between both.
You can reach that speed by adding a 3s Lipo battery.

Traxxas Rustler has the same speed as the Stampede. For its size, it’s hard to say that this is one of the fastest Traxxas RC trucks. It’s incredible!
What’s special in Traxxas Rustler 4×4 is how close its shape is to the E-Revo. With that low center of gravity and wide body in addition to the wide wheels, you don’t need to worry about this Traxxas RC Truck at this high speed.

Traxxas Maxx: +60 mph
We can say that Traxxas Maxx is the most famous Traxxas RC truck you can have!
This is because of its perfection and balance in the different metrics. It’s true that it’s not the fastest, and you may be surprised about that.
Unlike the E-Revo, Traxxas Maxx has just one battery holder, and in order to reach the +60 mph, you need the 6s Lipo battery and the optional gearing that you should change.
Nevertheless, it will reach just +55 mph without the optional gearing.
Other than the speed, Traxxas Maxx is almost the perfect RC truck among all of these on our list. Why? Because it has a perfect size, the perfect speed, and the perfect performance!
That’s what makes it one of the most popular Traxxas RC trucks despite being a little expensive. But, it’s worth it after all!
Also, Traxxas Maxx comes with all the systems that we talked about earlier including the TSM and the Self-Righting.

Traxxas Hoss 4×4 VXL: +60mph
Traxxas Hoss is the most badass Traxxas RC truck. It is the first competitor of the Traxxas Maxx!
And as you see in the time of the section, it has the same speed as the Maxx. Isn’t that crazy?
Traxxas Hoss is also a brushless RC truck with a powerful motor ad ESC.
It has about the same shape as the Maxx but with smaller dimensions. However, they don’t have the same platform.
In fact, Traxxas Hoss has the same platform as Slash. So, we can say that Traxxas Hoss is the most powerful Traxxas RC truck in the Slash family.
